JC and I met almost 17 years ago, 12 years ago today we got married, 8 years ago today we got a divorce, and 4 years ago we got married AGAIN! I'm filled with extreme gratitude for the last 17 years with JC. We started as friends, and here's another funny fact our first breakup when we were dating was because he did not want biological children and only wanted to adopt...how hilarious is that now. We have a lot to celebrate today, but that wasn't always the case as noted in the statistics. The details are not relevant anymore to our past, but the lessons learned and the roads it took us down were far beyond anything we could have imagined. (As I sit here listening to my 6 year old play video games, 3 year old watching Toy Story and husband snoring...) God has written an amazing story for our life that 8 years ago I could have never known, but only by the grace of God am I able to be typing this (oh and electronics to occupy my kids...ha!)!
So no matter what you are going through please remember you are loved by an almighty God who will never leave or forsake you. When it seems like it is totally impossible, it is not. Patience, prayer and faith can move mountains and you can experience miracles like you never thought possible. I'm living a miracle and the 2 little faces that wake me up every morning are living, walking, talking (so much talking) miracles. So despite the overwhelming hate we wake up to on the news and social media, God is still in the business of doing miracles and changing lives, if we believe and let Him. Thank you never seems adequate enough when I think of all the things we've been through the last 17 years but Thank you, Lord for it is only because of you....
